Our understanding of human health and disease grows daily; however, converting science into medicine is increasingly challenging. This talk is meant to provide a greater appreciation of those challenges as well as the role that the pharmaceutical industry currently plays and can play in solving them.

His most recent book, “Devalued and Distrusted: Can the Pharmaceutical Industry
Restore Its Broken Image?” will be published by Wiley early next year.
Seats will be $190 for Chemists’ Club members and $225 for non-members. Additionally, one can purchase a table of 10 and sponsor a table of 10 for New York City science students and faculty to attend for $5000.
